Clean the Drain Water Filter Tank
1. | Make sure that the ProtoMAX is turned off or is not operating. |
2. | Unplug the drain water filter tank from the power source. |
3. | Disconnect the drain water filter tank hose from the drainage system. |
4. | Remove the tank cover and filter bag. See Replace the Filter Bag. |
5. | Detach the pump control box [1] then lift the pump assembly [2] from the tank. Place the pump assembly in a watertight container. |

6. | Clean the tank of all sediment and debris. |
Bacteria in the tank water can build up. A minor break in the skin can introduce harmful bacteria into a wound. Always wear protective gloves if you have cuts or open wounds on your hands. Wear gloves that provide protection against sharp metal edges.
7. | Elevate or cover the pump control box, and then spray the pump assembly with water to remove all sediment and debris. |
8. | After cleaning, place the pump assembly back into the tank and reattach the pump control box. |
9. | Reinstall the components. See Install the Drain Water Filter Tank. |
